If you’re studying engineering and need some help funding your degree, WSP is offering bursaries for 2026. This is an excellent chance for South African students who are serious about building a career in engineering.

Where: Any recognised and accredited university in South Africa.
What the bursary covers
We’re offering bursaries for students in these fields:

Civil Engineering

Electrical Engineering
-
Mechanical Engineering
Besides financial support, there’s also the possibility of doing vacation work with us — and maybe even joining WSP after graduation if the opportunity is there.
Who should apply
You’re a good fit if you:

Are you a South African citizen
-
Have finished Matric
-
Are you studying one of the listed degrees (BEng / BSc Eng / BIng)
-
Will be going into 2nd, 3rd or final year in 2026
-
Are at a recognised South African university
-
Have at least a 65% average so far and have passed all your 2025 subjects
-
Genuinely enjoy engineering and are committed to your studies
-
Don’t already have another bursary or scholarship
Preference may be given to students from previously disadvantaged backgrounds.
