Senior Internal Auditor Job Description: We’re looking for a Senior Internal Auditor to help us keep our finances accurate, compliant, and running smoothly. In this role, you’ll lead the audit process from start to finish—reviewing records, ensuring compliance, identifying risks, and recommending better ways of doing things.
You’ll also guide junior auditors and work closely with leadership to ensure that improvements are effectively implemented.

What You’ll Do

Oversee the full audit cycle, from compliance checks to account reviews.

Analyze the results and suggest practical solutions to improve financial practices.

Evaluate procedures around accounting, payroll, inventory, and taxes.

Conduct risk assessments and highlight opportunities for cost savings.

Follow up with management to ensure corrective actions are implemented.

Mentor and supervise junior auditors, reviewing and integrating their work.

Prepare and review annual audit reports and memorandums.

Stay up-to-date on laws and regulations to ensure our financial practices remain compliant.
What We’re Looking For

A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) designation.

5+ years of experience in auditing or accounting.

Strong understanding of auditing standards, laws, and compliance requirements.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency with auditing tools like CAMS or AuditBoard.
