To qualify, you’ll need:

Proof that you’re registered at a recognised institution (or provisional university acceptance)

A valid South African ID
Note: Preference is given to students from Northern Cape mining communities.

A Code B driver’s licence (you can still get it during your bursary years)

Any hands-on mining experience (for example, during vacation work)

A Few Things to Note

Finishing your studies doesn’t automatically guarantee a spot in Kumba’s Graduate Programme – that depends on both company needs and your performance.
