Topographical Surveyor (1 Post)

Entry Qualifications:

Must be a Tanzanian Citizen.

  • A Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Diploma in Land Surveying, Geomatics, or equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution.
  • Must be registered by NCPS as a Professional Land Surveyor.
  • 6 years of experience in road design and construction.
  • Must have worked on at least two road construction projects in the last 6 years.
  • At least 3 years of working experience in Sub-Saharan countries.
  • Proficiency in English and Swahili is mandatory.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain sketches, maps, and reports.
  • Review survey data for accuracy.
  • Identify and locate beacons and benchmarks.
  • Coordinate findings with engineers and other stakeholders.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by Supervisor.

Works Inspector – Drainage/Structure (2 Posts)

Entry Qualifications:

  • Must be a Tanzanian Citizen.
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent from a recognized institution.
  • Must be registered by ERB as a Graduate Engineer with at least 3 years of relevant working experience.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Review structural drawings for conformity to standards.
  • Inspect materials and completed works for compliance with specifications.
  • Prepare mini progress reports on drainage works.
  • Maintain a site diary.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by Supervisor.

Works Inspector – Road Works (2 Posts)

Entry Qualifications:

  • Must be a Tanzanian Citizen.
  • A Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution.
  • Must be registered by ERB as a Graduate Engineer with at least 3 years of relevant working experience.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Inspect road works for compliance with technical specifications.
  • Inspect the implementation of QA/QC procedures.
  • Attend contractor’s request for inspection.
  • Keep daily records for contractor’s equipment and personnel.
  • Inspect site health and safety compliance.
  • Submit daily progress reports.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

Highway Engineer (1 Post)

Entry Qualifications:

  • Must be a Tanzanian Citizen.
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Highway Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution.
  • At least 7 years of working experience in a related field.
  • Must be registered by ERB as a Professional Engineer.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Supervise conformity to contract conditions and specifications.
  • Review existing designs and advise the Resident Engineer on shortfalls.
  • Identify and locate all beacons and benchmarks for contractor set out.
  • Inspect completed works for compliance with technical specifications.
  • Prepare and submit detailed progress reports with updated cost of civil works.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Project Manager.
